What are They Talking About?
April, 2002
Each month we ask teens to comment on something that has either been on their minds or to share some info. The first ten interesting topics are posted on this site to share with the rest of the world. Here's what they had to say and feel free to send us ya own words!
This Haitian busta came up to me one day in the T-station and he was like, in this thick-ass accent, "I like ya butt". Now, I didn't know whether to laugh, smack him, or have pity on the gameless fool. Yeah, I got a phat butt, but that was pretty disrespectful of him to step up like that. We then had this long conversation on the reason for what he had done until my bus came and I was glad to leave cuz he was hopeless and gettin' on my nerves. All my ladies, what would you have done? Holla back fellas too if you got an opinion.

People that can easily say "I love you", must first understand what it means and be able to openly act on it. Am I right?

I never met her. Didn't really care 'bout her before, but lately, I've been feeling sad and missing Aaliyah like crazy! Weird, I know.

Man, in my school some Haitians are the most popular people like me, right. But there are some Haitians that don't get with the style nah and it make other Haitians like us look bad. They be saying yeah, you people are dirty, they are not with it yet .
